Game Description
Resident Evil 3: Nemesis is a survival horror game developed by Capcom and released for the PlayStation in 1999. It is the third installment in the Resident Evil series and takes place around the events of Resident Evil 2. The original PS1 version of Resident Evil 3 is available on GoG.com (https://www.gog.com/en/game/resident_evil_3). In fact, the whole trilogy is on there (https://www.gog.com/en/game/resident_evil_bundle). Available for legitimate purchase and .
And last I checked it was also available on the PS3 Online store.
Steam only has the remake, not the original version.
as of today 26 June 2024 RE 1 is on GOG and RE 2 and RE 3 are planned to be released within 2024
The steam link you added is the one to the remake. Did you even look at the page? They haven’t touched the original since the PC release, this is 110% abandonware.
Bullsh*t! The game is still abandonware! Dude’s afraid of a strike
Says available on steam. I think, great! More than willing to pay. But then when I clicked on the link, it’s the remake of the game that I already own! I’ve already played that game, I want the original, which is a different game!
I understand and you’re right. but unfortunately the game would no longer be classified as “Abandonware” as the publisher’s are still monetizing it.
the ideal scenario would be if they offered both the original and remake versions… but one can only dream for publisher sensibility 🙂
“Abandonware is a product, typically software, ignored by its owner and manufacturer, which can no longer be found for sale, and for which no official is available.” RE3 nemesis is absolutely abandonware.
i like the old one because a lot puzzle
this game IS still abandonware, the remake isnt, but the original is still not available to
How is this the best of the series, the most popular, yet the hardest of them all to find?
Please re- the old RE3: Nemesis files because the Steam one you link to is the modern remake, not the original game.
this game on Steam is remake not orginal version.!
Also if this is not an abandonware then why are you still ing RE2 even though the remake is already on steam huh ?
Bruh why would you remove the original RE3 ? the one on steam is the 2020 Remake not the 1999 game !
I already have the remake but i just wanted to see how it compares to the old classic game it was based on
Please it back, the game is still abandonware !
hey, this game IS still abandonware, the remake isnt, but the original is still not available to , put it back up
the game on steam is the remake :S
