Also known as “Star Empire”, Empire! is one of the first “space opera” shooting games to ever be released. The game was never popular but pioneered a genre which is commong today. It was first published by First Row Software Publishing, Inc. in 1986 for Commodore 64 and Amstrad C, and later published to DOS in 1988.
